SURROGACY AND DONATION

Egg donation for childless couples is appropriate when a woman has a reduced number of follicles in her ovaries and it is impossible to receive an egg, its quality is heavy and the probability of forming a genetically inferior embryo increases.

○ Dysgenesis of gonads – development defect or absence of ovaries

○ Premature ovarian syndrome

○ Decreased ovarian reserve due to the age of the woman (>35 years).

○ When a woman has genetic problems and it is necessary to prevent their inheritance

○ Low-quality oocytes resulting from several in vitro fertilization

In case of egg donation, it is necessary to consult with a reproductive specialist and develop an individual action plan.

Sperm donation is part of assisted reproductive technology treatment. The inclusion of a sperm donor in the treatment process becomes necessary:

A. During azoospermia, when spermatozoa could not be found even by microsurgical operation.

B. A single woman

A surrogate is a woman who carries a fetus in her womb and gives birth to it for biological parents, she has no genetic connection with the born child.

Pregnancy and/or childbirth is invisible due to the health condition of the woman:

1. In the case of such diseases, when there is a risk of aggravation of the woman's health condition or death during pregnancy (systemic diseases, kidney failure, oncological diseases, etc.);

2. Unsuccessful surgical intervention (damage to the basal and functional layer of the endometrium, Asherman's syndrome);

3. Presence of multiple myomatous nodes of different localization;

4. several unsuccessful in vitro fertilization (IVF) attempts;

5. Usual abortion

6. Absence of the uterus due to congenital malformations and anatomical problems of the uterus (including Rokitansky syndrome, etc.)

7. Absence of the uterus due to hysterectomy or surgical amputation or extirpation of the uterus;
